Q:  How do I book?

A:  Either fill in the information on our Make a Booking page, or call the local 09 576 5554 number to speak directly to Nicola or Rachel.


Q:  How much do your services cost?  

A:  Our Companion Driving service is based on distance and time and our in-home assistance is an hourly rate. Each service is quoted specific to your requirements and is quoted in advance so you will know the exact charge. We ensure our prices are always affordable and competitive, please call us on 09 576 5554 for a free, no-obligation quote.


Q:  Can you assist with getting in and out of the car?

A:  Yes absolutely, we will provide as much assistance as you require. Our vehicles are late model SUV's which are a good height for clients to be able to step in and out of. It also has plenty of storage and boot space for a walker if necessary.  


Q:  Can you help me at appointments and in shops?

A:  Yes absolutely! We can accompany you to appointments to assist with support, prescriptions or care instructions. Or we can deliver you to appointments and return to collect you when you’re finished. We can also assist with shopping excursions – shopping for groceries, presents or personal requirements. We can even help unpack shopping when we deliver you home.


Q:  Do you accept Total Mobility Cards and Vouchers?

A:  Yes, please call us on 09 576 5554 to discuss your particular requirements. We are also an ACC Provider.


 Q:  Do you offer a loyalty programme?

A:  Yes we do offer discounts for loyalty. Our aim is to create loyal clients who we can build a relationship with. Speak to Nicola or Rachel to find out more.


 Q:  How do you compare with a Taxi?  

A:  FAB offers much more than a standard taxi service for just about the same price, or cheaper in some cases. Our caring drivers offer a much more personalised service. We will meet you at the door, offer assistance getting in and out of the car and accompany you on appointments, shopping or excursions if required. We offer a fully tailored service and our aim is to brighten your day! We pride ourselves on a professional, quality service.   


Q:  Who can use your service?

A:  Our service is safe and suitable for anyone – from schoolchildren needing safe and trusted transport through to elderly or anyone wanting or needing a more personalised service.


 Q:  Can I make a regular booking?

A:  Yes absolutely, please call 09 576 5554 and speak to Nicola or Rachel to arrange a regular and reliable pre-booked service.


Q:  What times are you available?

A:   Our hours are 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday.  But please call 09 576 5554 and speak to us to discuss any other requirements you have, we will do our best to accommodate you.


 Q:   Are you police checked?

A:   Yes we have been screened by the NZ Police for your peace of mind and are correctly licenced to carry passengers.
